Who are the True Romans

The True Romans are a group of seasoned professionals from the Seattle music scene who love to play music!       The band started as a side project by a few friends covering each others gigs and then quickly became a music making machine playing all over the Northwest.    From small clubs to festivals,  corporate events and weddings, and studio session work, they do it all!    Playing songs that span the last 6 decades of music across all genres from pop, blues, rock, the classics to current hits!   With Justin, Andrew and Scotty as the main group, they have the ability to also add other instruments and singers based on the gig,  from keys to horns to additional singers, they will cater to your event and you can even choose the songs you'd like to hear!

Meet the Band:

Justin Kausal-Hayes

Born in Chicago to a musical family Justin began playing guitar as a young boy, and was quickly taken by the sounds of his parents records of folk, rock, jazz and blues and would spent hours trying to decipher Steven Stills guitar solos or Jimi Hendrix riffs.    When the family relocated to Seattle in the late 80's Justin became enamored with the local scene and after high school dove into open mics and jam sessions all around the city trying to hone his skills and learn from the best local talent!    Jamming with some high school buddies led to the formation of a band that started playing out, first with covers, then writing their own songs, then recording albums and generally having fun playing music!    The bands kept going through college and then came time to get a job but music was always a part of life and in 2006 Justin quit the day job to pursue music full time and has been rocking the Northwest and beyond ever since!
